Synopsis
Open Management Infrastructure is affected by a remote code execution vulnerability.
Description
The Microsoft Open Management Infrastructure service detected on the remote host is affected by a remote code execution vulnerability due to insufficient authentication validation. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this to execute code on the remote host as root.

Upgrade to Microsoft Open Management Infrastructure version 1.6.8-1 or later.

How to Run
Here is how to run the Microsoft Open Management Infrastructure RCE (CVE-2021-38647) as a standalone plugin via the Nessus web user interface (https://localhost:8834/):
- Click to start a New Scan.
- Select Advanced Scan.
- Navigate to the Plugins tab.
- On the top right corner click to Disable All plugins.
