Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch.

Description

The version of F5 Networks BIG-IP installed on the remote host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the K44482551 advisory.

- Improper access control in firmware for the Intel(R) Ethernet I210 Controller series of network adapters before version 3.30 may allow a privileged user to potentially enable denial of service via local access. (CVE-2020-0525)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to one of the non-vulnerable versions listed in the F5 Solution K44482551.
