Synopsis

The remote PAN-OS host is affected by a vulnerability

Description

The version of Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS running on the remote host is 8.1.x prior to 8.1.23 or 9.0.x prior to 9.0.16-hf or 9.1.x prior to 9.1.13-hf or 10.0.x prior to 10.0.10 or 10.1.x prior to 10.1.5-hf or 10.2.x prior to 10.2.1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability.

Here is how to run the Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS 8.1.x < 8.1.23 / 9.0.x < 9.0.16-hf / 9.1.x < 9.1.13-hf / 10.0.x < 10.0.10 / 10.1.x < 10.1.5-hf / 10.2.x < 10.2.1 Vulnerability as a standalone plugin via the Nessus web user interface (https://localhost:8834/):

  1. Click to start a New Scan.
  2. Select Advanced Scan.
  3. Navigate to the Plugins tab.
  4. On the top right corner click to Disable All plugins.
  5. On the left side table select Palo Alto Local Security Checks plugin family.
