Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2022:1463 advisory.

- log4j-core: DoS in log4j 2.x with Thread Context Map (MDC) input data contains a recursive lookup and context lookup pattern (CVE-2021-45105)

Here is how to run the RHEL 8 : Red Hat Single Sign-On 7.5.2 security update on RHEL 8 (Low) (RHSA-2022:1463) as a standalone plugin via the Nessus web user interface (https://localhost:8834/):
