Vulnerabilities were discovered in the OpenJDK JRE related to information disclosure and data integrity. (CVE-2012-4416, CVE-2012-5071)

Several vulnerabilities were discovered in the OpenJDK JRE related to information disclosure and data integrity. An attacker could exploit these to cause a denial of service. How to Run


Here is how to run the Ubuntu 10.04 LTS / 11.04 / 11.10 / 12.04 LTS / 12.10 : openjdk-6, openjdk-7 vulnerabilities (USN-1619-1) (ROBOT) as a standalone plugin via the Nessus web user interface (https://localhost:8834/):

  1. Click to start a New Scan.
  2. Select Advanced Scan.
  3. Navigate to the Plugins tab.
  4. On the top right corner click to Disable All plugins.
  5. On the left side table select Ubuntu Local Security Checks plugin family.
