Synopsis

The remote Fedora host is missing a security update.

Description

This update fixes rhbz#895035 , which consists of a set of flaws that potentially allow arbitrary code execution (including remotely via applets).

It is strongly recommended that all Java users in Fedora immediately update to this release.

How to Run


Here is how to run the Fedora 17 : java-1.7.0-openjdk-1.7.0.9-2.3.4.fc17 (2013-0868) as a standalone plugin via the Nessus web user interface (https://localhost:8834/):

  1. Click to start a New Scan.
  2. Select Advanced Scan.
